Anyone know the title of this book?

I cant find the name of the book that starts with a girl saying, "Hi im _______, i got this intro from my favorite book Moby Dick." Or somrthing close to that. Its about a young girl who's parents are alcoholics and after her boyfriend breaks up with her she wanders the street and almost gets hit by a car. The dude that almost hit her goes to her school so he takes her home and gets her addicted to like weed or something. And at the end of the book the dude overdose on a lot of shit and like dies. If anyone knows it please tell me, it would be great thanks. <3 Abbi
